What you may feel you lack in one regard May be more than compensated for in another. What you feel you lack in the present May become one of your strengths in the future. May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

~QUIT~

One day I decided to quit...

I wanted to quit this life too...

For I was so frustrated with things.....

With everything... everything!!!!!!!

I went somewhere to talk to God. A place where no one knows.

"God" I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
I sat there crying. Crying out until my tears overflow and dried out.
It was very quiet moment with Him.
Feeling His presence.....

His answer surprised me...

"Look around you. Do you see everything..... the plants, the trees, the birds, fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds,

I took very good care of them.

I gave them light.

I gave them water.

The fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its brilliant green covered the floor.

Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the 2nd year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful

And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.

In the 3rd year there was still nothing from the bamboo

seed.

But I would not quit.

In the 4th year there was nothing from the bamboo seed.

I would not quit." He said.

Then in the 5th year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.

Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and

insignificant....

But just 6 months layer the bamboo rose to ove 100 feet tall.

It had spent 5 years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.

(That is what our love foundation should be)

I would not give any of my creations a challenge

it could not handle."

God asked me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots". "I would not quit on the bamboo.I will never quit on you."

"Don't compare yourself to others."

He said.

"The bamboo had a different purpose then the fern.

Yet they both make the forest beautiful. Your time will come. You will rise high",

God said to me.

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

Amen..............

I hope these words can help us see that God will never give up on us.

Never, never, never ever give up hope.

We pray because it is not an option but an opportunity.

We go to the Lord and tell Him our problems and that problems will show us how Great the Lord is!

Today someone asked me.

"Are you happy?"

"Aren't you always worried about life?"

Goshhhhhh...

HAPPINESS IS A DECISION. IT IS NOT AN ACCIDENT IN OUR LIFE.

HAPPINESS is a daily decision. Make it a habit to be happy.

Some days will be better than others but with practice

happiness becomes a habit.

Happy thoughts attract more and more happy thoughts.

We must feel happy with our positive actions to be happy.

Each morning I wake up and I pray that The Lord will make

my day happy with everyone around me.

I want to feel better and happy all through the day

by doing my work well and finish it in time.

If we feel miserable, we will find those miserable things

all through the day. Yes I have experienced that.

LIFE is never without trials and tribulations.

We always learned our biggest lessons when things

get really rough.

When we fail, it hurts deeply.

Its educational, no matter how big or small.

Like meeting our loved ones.... it is our

decision to be happy to meet them.

It is our decision to make them happy.

It is our decision to see them happy

and it is our decision to make them sad....

But why SAD?????

HAPPYYYYYYYYY.....

Worry doesn't help us.

It is bad for our health.

Life gets better by not worrying.

Worrying attracts problems to me.

I am trying to do away with worrying. I try to postpone

or minimise it.

Worrying affects our relationship..... in a family, in a relationship,

your studies and work.

To live happily we begin by spending less time thinking about

what has happened and less time thinking about what might

happen and more time about what is happening in the present.

So do not worry too much!!!!

What are Tigers?

Tigers are part of the cat family, scientifically known as Panthera Tigris. They are apex predators and are Carnivores(am sure you knew that!!!), which means they are on the top of the food chain, and survive from nutrients in their prey's flesh.

( From the Family:Felidae, Sub Family:Pantherinae, Genus:Panthera)

Tigers are part of the" Panthera" Genus which they share with what are also known as the Big Four Cats, namely Lions (Panthera leo), Leopards (Panthera Pardus) and Jaguars (Panthera Onca)

Other famous members of the Felidae family are the Cheetah ( Acinonyx jubatus) and Domestic Cats (Felius Catus) However they belong to another Sub Family all together (Feline)

How Do Tigers Look?

Tigers are large Cats . They can reach lengths of more than 3 meters and weigh up to 300 kilograms. These animals are characterized by large dark stripes from the top to the bottom of their body, which run along thick fur;tthe colour of which ranges from a dark orange/red to near white with lighter under colours.

A popular misunderstanding is that the white coloured tigers are a seperate sub species. However that isnt true.The White Bengal tiger, for instance isnt a "white" tiger. Its colour arises from a recessive gene which gives it the pale white colour and blue eyes.

Another example is of the white siberian Tiger, the existence of which has not been proved, though there have been reported sightings of white tigers in the areas where Siberian tigers live.It could also be possible that Siberian tigers that had a gene for natural white coating have been extinct long back.

Additionally,there have been so far no white siberian tigers born in captivity, and the white siberian tigers that you see at Zoos are because of the breeding of the Bengal Tiger and Siberian Tigers. The Bengal tiger most commonly has the gene for white coating.

Where did the name Tiger come from?

"The word "tiger" is taken from the Greek word "tigris", which is possibly derived from a Persian source meaning "arrow", a reference to the animal's speed and also the origin for the name of the Tigris river. "


Where do they live?

Tigers are usually found in the dense cover of Forests. These forests can range from mangroves to semi evergreen to deciduous forests. Unlike lorides of Lions, dense vegetation is well suited for Tigers to hunt. Most Tiger habitats will have easy access to prey and water and dense cover.Tigers are good at swimming and will actively seek out water body's to relax in the high temperatures of the day.

The Problem today...

Tiger Habitats once extended from Western Asia to Siberia and Indonesia. In the 19th century the Tigers vanished from Western Asia. Modernization and human civilization along with poaching has lead to these magnificent creatures disappearing from their habits. Today Tigers are endagered and protected species. Their Major habitats are now around India, Sumatra, China and south East Asia. The Tigers on Java and Bali were extinct in early 20th century, and the tigers of Borneo are only recognized by their Fossil Remains.

There are numerous programs which have been up to save these creatures, but unfortunately corruption,poaching and illegal hunting of these creatures have driven tiger populations to the brink of extinction.
