A day with "HER"

He is not around....
He went "outing" with daddy ......
They went for an overnight gathering.

My God

Dear God, Father in heaven, Thank you so much for this morning.
Grant that whatever happens to us today, we may take it to You.

If we shall have decisions to make, help us to ask
Your guidance, and grant us humility and obedience to take
it when You give it to us.

If we shall have problems to solve, help us to ask

Your light upon them, so that we may see a clear

way through them

If we shall have hard and difficult things to do,

help us to ask for Your strength, so that we

may be able to do things which we

could not do by ourselves.

If we shall have temptations to face, help us to seek Your grace,

remembering that Jesus, because He was tempted,

is able to help others who are tempted.

Help us through today to decide everything

by Your Holy will, and to test everything by

Your presence, so that we may come to the day's

ending without mistakes

and without regrets.

Growing up - teenagers

Teenagers have a reputation for being difficult

during those hormone-charged years but parenting

getting more challenging with tech-savvy,

mobile-toting teens of today?

Teenagers want to be treated like an adult

but usually lack the maturity to think and act as one.

You can ask any parent and they will tell you

that parenting children at this age poses more challenges

than any other phase of their lives.....

MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

If we are strict, they resent us....., but when we try

to be a friend to them, they seem to put off.

Today our teenaders are better exposed, and more adamant

about following their own choices.

So how are we going to interact with them

and manage teenagers these days????

Ishhhhhhh.... parents are apt to dream of the

trickle - toffee life of their children.

It is the normal instinct..............

Laziness and ease are the enemies of the independence.

the only course is to give up to worries.

Action is the main solution to worries.

There are stories told by many people about the "LITTLE THINGS"

Let us recall the September 11th incident - the attack of the Twin Towers.

Those who were alive have their "LITTLE THINGS" to share with...

• A man survived that day because his son started kindergarten.



• Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.



• One of them missed his bus.



• One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.



• One's car wouldn't start.



• One went back to answer the telephone.



• One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have.



• One couldn't get a taxi



• One man put on a pair of new shoes that morning, took various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot, so stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is still alive today.

Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone..... all the little things that annoy me........ I think to myself, this is exactly where GOD wants me to be at this moment.

Hello everybody...

Next time your morning seems to be going wrong,

the children are slow, you can't find your car keys,

you hit every traffic light... don't get mad or frustrated....

Amazing Love Story

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he is so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was so surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please let me go home...... suddenly he asked the waiter. "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."

Everyone stared at him, so strange!!! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; "Why do you have this hobby?" He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea. I like playing in the sea. I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of this salty coffee. Now every time I have salty coffee, I always think of my childhood time, of my hometown and I missed it so much. I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feelings, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his feelings.... Then she started to speak about herself.... almost the same story line... They continued to date from there on. She found out that, actually he was the man who meets all her demands, he had tolerance, kind hearted, warm and careful..........

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince and live happily ever after... And every time she made salty coffee for him... as she knew he likes it that way...

After 40 years, he passed on .............., left a letter which said: "My dear darling, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you - salty coffee. Remenber the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead with the salt. I never thought that I could start of our communication!! !!!!!!!! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life but I was too afraid. I have promised not to lie to you during our life together and I did ....... but that lie I never seemed to confess....

I am so sorry for that lie darling. Since I knew you until we were married, I never feel so sorry for anything I do for you but the lie - salty coffee. Please forgive me. To tell you the truth, the salty coffe was a bad taste.. What a strange taste it was......

Having only you in my life is the biggest happiness. The biggest happiness for my whole life.... If I can live for the second time....... I still want to know you and love you. I still want you in my whole life even though I have to drink the salty coffee again". You are my only one, my only love.... in my entire life

Her tears made the letter totally wet. Some day, someone asked her: what's the taste of a salty coffee?

It's sweet. She replied.

***Effects of cold water***

For those who like to drink cold, cold water , this article is applicable to you.

The little things we do

Last night it rained heavily and it was a cold night.
I had to admit that my sleep pattern is coming back.
Could it be due to the cold weather or
due to the "med" the doctor gave me???
I hope the "med" is just to get my sleep
back on the line again and I don't have
to depend on it further.

and another day of my life.



I realize that the small details of our lives are what
really matter in a relationship. Its not the mansion,
the expensive cars, properties, the money in the bank, blaa...blaa... that matter.
To create an environment conducive for happiness
but cannot give happiness in themsleves. So we must find t
ime to be our partners best friend and do those little special
things for each other that build intimacy.

The Bank Account of Life

Imagine each morning, there is a bank that

credits RM86,400 to your account.

Day to day it carries no balance.

Every evening it deletes whatever part

of the balance you failed to use during the day.

What would you do??????????

Of course, draw out every single cent.

Each of us has such a "bank account".

And it is "TIME".

Time credits you with

86,400 seconds every morning.

Writes off whatever seconds

you failed to invest to good purpose.

it carries over no balance.

It allows no overdraft.

It opens new account each day for you.

It burns the remains of the day each night.

The loss is yours if you fail to

use the day's deposit properly.

There is no going back.

There is no drawing against tomorrow.

You all must live in the present on today's deposits.

Invest your time. So as to get from it the utmost in health

- to eat healthy, to excercise, etc....., in happiness

- to love your loved ones (your daddy, mummy, brothers ,

sisters, girlfriend or boyfriend as

This morning I woke up...

To see Dave off to school.

Took my shower, ready for work...

Felt a bad migraine...

Is it just a migraine or something else Lord....

I am so scared....

Then Davelyn woke up..

"Mummy, I dreamt about Babuk", she said.

I sat on the bed quietly...... as I heard that....

Oh!!! he visited her......... I said to myself.

Thank you pa... for that visit .

You are most welcome to come anytime.

She missed you a lot, especially when you plucked those coconuts ......

Look at yourself

This morning a lady... young lady, beautiful,

with 3 friends sat next to my table

at the coffee shop and keep

mumblinggggggg with 3 friends....

Then they started talking.

Talk and talk of something and of somebody.

There is this so and so... so.... so....so....

And then I remembered someone told me this ......

There was this couple moving into an aprtment..

Morning by morning..

they sat by the window having breakfast..

The lady sees her neighbor hang the wash outside.

She told her man...

that the laundry is not very clean.

She doesn't know how to wash them properly.

Maybe she needs better detergent .

But her man looked at her and kept quiet.

Almost every time, every morning

she would make the same comments.

and after a month later,

the lady was surprised to see a nice clean wash

on the line and said to her man.....

Oh look! I wonder who taught her to wash correctly.

They looked very clean.

Then her man said to her ......

Our windows are dirty with dust

and i cleaned them!!!!!

Sooooooooooooooooooo... what is the moral of the story????

That is life.

What we see in others, depend on the purity in us....

the window through which we look.

The window is "US"

Before giving any criticism,

it is best to check our state of mind

and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good

rather than be looking for something in people......

to talk about.
